Yuezheng understands that plastic is an immensely useful material “in our daily life”. There are many things we use in our day-to-day life made of plastic. Plastic, for example, goes into making toys for children to play with, food packages to keep our snacks fresh, and parts of cars so they run smoothly. For example, there is a special type of plastic called LDPE (low-density polyethylene). These are 5 most common types of polymers LDPE, PP, PET, PS &PVC. LDPE is a special kind of plastic it is extremely flexible that is can be bend easily, it is strong enough to keep things, lightweight so that you can carry it easily and most importantly it is not very costly compared to other plastics. Which makes it an excellent choice for many of the products we use.
Multiple factors can affect the price of LDPE plastic. The biggest factor is something called supply and demand. Supply is the amount of LDPE plastic that is available, and demand is the amount people want to buy. LDPE plastic spawns in in stores and factories, the price fallen down. Sellers want to get rid of their products and bring people in. But when little LDPE plastic is made available, and additional bodies attempt to purchase it, the price may be raised. This is how supply meets demand in the marketplace.
The price of LDPE plastic can also be highly impacted by the price of the raw materials used to produce it. LDPE is produced from a substance known as oil. So if oil prices increase, the price of LDPE plastic could also go up, since it's more expensive to produce. Same goes for LDPE plastic, meaning that the price varies depending on how much it cost to transport or ship it from one place to another. If shipping prices increase, that may translate to higher costs at the store.
LDPE plastic, in particular, has recently been skyrocketing in price, which has drawn the interest of many. Some of this jump is due to increased demand for products made from LDPE plastic. Some, like food packaging and medical supplies, have gained in value at a time when health and safety are paramount. Getting enough LDPE plastic to keep up with demand has also faced some difficulties during the COVID-19 pandemic.

“This means that LDPE plastic price will be impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic for some time looking forward,” Yuezheng said. The need for LDPE plastic is also likely to remain high as the world inches back towards recovery from this pandemic. That means that people will still desire products made with LDPE plastic. But there are still issues with supply and nations trying desperately to recover from the economic consequences of the pandemic.

But there are also some features that couldhelp maintain LDPE plastic price stable. As an example, some companies may begin seeking LDPE plastic substitutes, indicating that they will implement alternative solutions. This could further reduce demand for LDPE plastic, which may keep prices from getting too high. Also, new technologies and innovations may make LDPE plastic cheaper to produce, which will also affect prices positively.

It is hard to predict how LDPE plastic prices will actually change going forward, Yuezheng says. That's a lot of different properties that can change quickly, and sometimes it's tough to keep track of them all. But there are patterns and predictions that professionals can draw upon based on the current climate of the market. For instance the demand for LDPE plastic will forever be in high demand in critical areas such as medical supplies and food packaging according to some experts. That could help to keep prices relatively stable, even if supply chain disruptions or shifts in the costs of the raw materials used to make it persist.
